This tweak works best with Airtel club 10 plan. It is not a
cheat that will be blocked at any time, but a modified Airtel blackberry plan, so
you don’t need to be afraid of it being blocked. I have been using this trick
for close to two months now to browse with my android phone and I thought it
wise to share it so that you can also benefit, especially now that blackberry
messenger is now available for android and iPhones.
With N200 you can ping for
the week. Blackberry users will also benefit as this is actually a blackberry
plan. This is not a new cheat; the tweak was everywhere on the internet about a
month ago but the way it was described made it look like a cheat. Let’s get
started!
Step 1: Migrate to airtel club 10 plan by dialing *166#. If you
are already on this plan just skip this step. Why must it be this plan? The answer
is simple, if you are on club 10 padis you will be 15MB fee on recharge of two
hundred naira and above which will last for one week before it expires.
Step 2: Recharge N200 airtime on your SIM. As I said
earlier, you will be given 15MB data, this is important because without it the
data will expire within two days.
Step 3: send BBUD2 to 440. You will receive a message that
your subscription was successful and N100 will be deducted from your account. You
will be credited with 160MB data which will add up to the 15MB given before.
Step 4: send ’deactivate’ without quotation mark to 440. You
will receive a message that your plan has been deactivated.
Step 5: Resend BBUD2 to 440. Again you are expected to
receive a confirmatory message with the remaining N100 deducted from your
account. An additional 160MB will be added to your data which will amount to
335MB.
Step 6: Send ‘stopautorenewal’ without quotation mark to 440.
This will prevent airtel from deducting money from your account to renew your
subscription. After this step you are good to go.
For Blackberry Users:
The above tweak is a blackberry plan, where you subscribe
for one day and get extra one day free. What this mean is that you are
subscribing for two days with N100 and you will be given 160MB to ping with. So
if you follow the above steps you will not benefit maximally. This is what to
do and you may ping up to five days and use the remaining data to download and
browse without the pinging part in the remaining two days.
Step 1: follow steps 1, 2 and 3 above.
Step 2: Send ‘stopautorenewal’ without quotation mark to 440.
Step 3: ping, browse and download until you receive a
message that your blackberry plan has expired. Ignore the first warning
message.
Step 4: when you receive the expiry message, resend BBUD2 to
440.
Step 5: Resend ‘stopautorenewal’
without quotation mark to 440. After this step continue to ping, browse and
download. Ignore any other message.
Extra hint for both blackberry and non-blackberry phone users:
This description with N200 is because you need a minimum of
N200 to get the 15MB that will last for a week. If you are a heavy internet
user like me and consumes data a lot, this plan is also good for you. In cases
where you finish the 335MB before the week runs out, you can always get extra
160MB with just N100. All you need to do is to keep sending BBUD2 to 440, each
for N100.
Note: When your data finish before receiving an expiry
message and you want to top up or you want to accumulate enough MB, you must
send ‘deactivate’ without quotation to 440 to enable you re-subscribe. If the
tweak didn’t work for you, try using another airtel SIM.
